Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

This policy explains what information VizzBlog (www.vizzblog.com) collects when you visit, and how it is used.

Information we collect

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics (through the MonsterInsights plugin) to understand how visitors use the site — for example which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from. This uses cookies and collects data such as your browser, device, approximate location and pages visited. We do not use it to identify you personally.
  • Comments. If you leave a comment, we store the name, email address and comment you submit, plus your IP address and browser information to help detect spam. Your email address is never published.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address to send you updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
  • Ratings. If you rate an article, we record the rating anonymously.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them for analytics, to remember your preferences, and — if advertising is shown — by advertising partners such as Google to serve and measure ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Advertising and affiliate links

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer may set a cookie to record that you came from VizzBlog.

Embedded content

Articles may include embedded content (for example videos) from other websites. That content behaves as if you visited the other site, which may collect data about you.

How long we keep data

Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so follow-up comments can be approved automatically. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. To make a request, please contact us through the site.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
